Summer Literature Reading

Post by Dorla » Wed May 14, 2008 1:05 pm

I know some of you have already thought about this, but forgive me, I am slow!
I want to continue homeschooling during the summer, but between work and travel it will be hard to keep the same routine. And then, where can I find a list of library books that I know will be the best and at the level needed?

Well, search no longer! I just had to look at the appendix of my LHFHG guide and I have my list. We started today with Peter the Great by Diane Stanley, and let me tell you, what a great book!I even I learned a lot myself
Even if you are done with LHFHG this Optional Literature Supplement is gold.
Thanks Carrie!

I know!!!! :D I love that list and we have read several of them with Little Hearts. Thanks for posting this Dorla, as I don't think many new ladies looking at HOD will realize that list is there.

Happy summer reading!

Dorla,

How fun! I love the Peter the Great book by Stanley too! We scheduled it for the kiddos to read on their own in "Preparing...." Deluxe Package. I'm so glad you'll get a chance to enjoy some of the books on the Appendix list.

Blessings,
Carrie
