End of Year Thanksgiving

Post by Tiffini » Thu May 17, 2012 7:56 pm

We finished RtR today and I'm so filled with thanksgiving! Carrie's God-given skill and talent truly amaze me. She is so purposeful in every. single. detail. of this curriculum. I was just re-reading the thread that had to do with comprehension of Story of the Ancient World. It's not just that Carrie has a plan for beginning to build independent reading comprehension - but she also layers all of the various boxes to build on understanding in such a deliberate way. I feel so blessed that I GET to use this curriculum. I feel it is a gift God has given me that enables me to homeschool joyfully and purposefully and with so much less stress.

Thank you, Carrie, for the numerous personal sacrifices that you make constantly in order to write Heart of Dakota. I always pray that God multiplies your time and ministers to your family and your relationships as I know you are so very busy. I believe God will bless your family in a special way as you serve Him and minister to so many homeschool families. You are so appreciated!

Another Amen from here. Everything you said is so true. HOD makes all the difference in our homeschooling journey and even more important in how my ds views God.

Congratulations on another successful HOD year! We just finished RTR last week, and it was a great year (as was the year before with CTC)! HOD makes homeschooling extra wonderful! :)

Ladies,

I am humbled beyond belief at your year-end posts. :D It is my joy to read posts like these, as the homeschool journey is not an easy one, but it is truly a calling for each of us from the Lord. :D He is my strength and my refuge, and when I don't feel like writing anymore and just grow weary, I know the Lord equips those He calls just as He has equipped each of you. So, thank you for the encouragement today, as I desperately needed it. :D

Blessings,
Carrie
