Ebook Versus Hard Copy

Post by mommybelle » Mon May 07, 2012 6:02 am

Does anyone have any thoughts on purchasing an e-book of some of the books versus a hard copy? I am about to purchase LHFHG, and I see that the Devotions for the Children's Hour is offered as a Kindle version on Amazon as well. We have a tiny house, so I try to contain the "stuff" as much as possible. I am just concerned that it will be difficult for me to find the story I am supposed to read according to the guide since the page #'s on the Kindle don't coincide to the hard copy book. Would it be difficult and time consuming to figure this out on my own?

Also, any thoughts on just using the free Kindle version for the Thorton Burgess books?

I have done that for a few books. Every time I eventually end up buying the hard copy--usually after struggling with the page number thing. :). I'm not going to do that anymore. :)

I am not going that route for the younger guides, but my son (13) does have some of his literature books on the Kindle and that works great for him, but with his assignments (Smarr Literature) it is broken down by chapters, not pages, which is what makes the difference.
I've done all the guides now with at least one child and still feeling the HOD LOVE. LOL!
