Dictation in Bigger/Preparing

Hi,
Just wondering if someone could clarify the dictation levels for me. Would the first level of dictation be found in both bigger and preparing or would I need to buy both guides in order to do preparing with level 1 dictation?

Both Bigger and Preparing contain Level 2, which is the first level.
