DITHOR and multi level teaching
When teaching DITHOR on 2 levels and in two different core guides, what do you do about one level scheduling every day for fice days per unit and another just 3? Do you teach separately or just do DITHOR less often with the younger so you can stay on The same lesson?

Interested in this because we aren't too far away from this scenario....
Re: DITHOR and multi level teaching
As Allison was just beginning DITHOR, we have stayed together with Grant for the lessons. I still had her read to me every day, but we only did the lessons on the 3 days of the week Grant was doing DITHOR. This actually worked well because reading a little bit shorter segments made it easier for her, too. I'm not sure what we'll do this coming year.

Good idea, Kathleen. That will not only benefit him.with shorter segments to read, bit also be a time saver for me since I intend to still have my oldest read aloud at least a page. She will be in.the 5/6 books and either 4/5 or 6/7/8 workbook buy neeeeds to read aloud bc that girl has a funny way of saying some words.
