Q- choosing science txt for LHFHG

I am trying to choose my dd's science txt for LHFHG, and I see that the txt connections shown in the Unit 1 pdf are all for the kindergarten option. If I choose the 1st grade txt are the txt connections listed in an appendix in the guide? I'm not sure how Our Father's World is utilized, and would love to hear how different it is from the kindergarten option... Thanks so much!!

Well in the appendix of LHFHG it lists page numbers for the text but doesn't give any other direction - if that helps I don't have the 1st grade book so I can't verify if you could use the text with the directions in the guide itself or not; I am however going out on a limb and saying that you could simply bc it all usually ties together and in the 2nd grade book has a lot of the same topics the text is a little more in depth if that makes sense.

You can use either the kinder or 1st grade science book with the activities in the box. The pages are in the appendix. Sometimes there is a day when you won't have pages for one book and will for the other, but it doesn't really affect the activity. I went through the first time with the kinder book and am just starting through again with younger ds in the 1st grade book and either way works fine.
