Singapore math teaching directions in guide

Ok so we are using BLHFHG with 2a and 2b but I am completely missing out because the alternate schedule in the back doesn't have teaching instructions and so I hope I am not completely making a mess out of my DS math lessons.

So I am curious is it the same in Bigger for the 3a and 3b? Or is there more instructions for me to teach with? Any suggestions on how to go about this???

The teaching activities for 2a & 2b are in the Bigger guide. The activities are 3 days a week. There are not teaching instructions for 3a&3b in Bigger, only the schedule. My ds is doing Bigger and in near the end of 3a. We have been using the textbook prior to him completing pages in his workbook for each exercise. So far it has been okay, though for 3b I am contemplating buying the home instructors guide to give me more ideas for activities to do with him.
