What to do with a baby/toddler?

So my sis needs someone to help her with my sweet nephew. She's wondering if I could help her 2 days a week. He will be 1 on April 1st and is very mobile (walks, etc. already). So how do I include him in our day without interrupting our lives too much? I know it will be different, but want it to be as smooth as possible for all involved. We're just committing to a trial basis right now. Does anyone have any ideas for someone who has no idea what to do? :?

I include my little ones in every way. I have a one and two yr old and things can get crazy if not involved in our routine. When my girls are doing math or other seat work, my boys are coloring. My baby loves crayons and washable markers. I have my two yr old work on pages I laminated. My baby tries as well, but isn't ready for fine motorskill work yet. Laminated pages work so much better then putting a page in a page protector!

When I'm reading, my little ones like to look at the pictures. My two yr old has an amazing animal vocabulary from this. Sometimes they play on the floor while we read.

While my girls read their DITHOR books, its book time for my boys. We pile on the couch with board books. My boys love this time! I hope to add more formal preschool during this block later, but the more reading I do with my little ones the better at this age.

There are lots of activities my 2 yr old can do, but thinking creatively can help keep the baby busy! My baby loves to "paint" with water on construction paper. He eats snacks often at the table. Its a challenging age. I think 10-18 months is the hardest for me to homeschool with.

I know the thread was geared toward 2 year olds, however many of the ideas may work for a younger sweetie too. :D
