PHFHG Unit 6 Egyptian Pastries

Post by Mom2Monkeys » Tue Jan 31, 2012 7:29 pm

My husband LOVED these so much he asked if I"d make them regularly!!!! My DD and I had fun making them...we doubled the batch so we'd all have some and then when I wasn't looking, my 2yo little guy fed half of them to the dog.

I wanted to post a pic but it says it's too big. I'll add some to my blog soon! Another update is that we are getting school done more consistently than we have in years...literally. My newest med is really helping with the fatigue that comes with my recent diagnosis and what a difference!

Sounds like a great day--especially for your dog  Also, so glad to hear you are feeling less fatigued with the new medication--that is a blessing. I look forward to these pastries next year when we do Preparing. Blessings, Jen

We enjoyed the pastries here too. What a lucky dog to get to have some! I'm glad you are feeling better and the new medicine is helping. What a wonderful blessing! :D

Mmmmmm - those pastries ARE yummy. :D Wyatt started a collection of recipes he loves, and these pastries were the first recipe he put in his collection. We've enjoyed them many times in the past few years. I'm so glad your dh and dc loved them too! I am also very happy to hear you are beginning to feel better. Health concerns are important to get to the bottom of, and I'm glad you are working through what medication will help you most, Tamara. I like your sunny presence here, and it was just great to hear you are feeling better. :D May God continue to heal! :D
