OT: Please pray for this young woman to choose LIFE!

Dear Ladies,

There is a young lady I know indirectly who is unmarried and recently found out she is pregnant. Sadly, her plan is to have an abortion. She was scheduled to have the abortion last week and my family and church prayed that it would not happen. When she went to the appointment, they said it was too early to do it, so praise God for his intervention!

Thankfully, we were able to get some materials from a local Christian crisis pregnancy center to her this week through her mother, so we are praying that she will read them and be willing to call for help and counsel. As far as I know this young lady does not know Christ, so we need to pray for her salvation also. There's also a DVD that someone is sending to us that we are hoping to get to her before Tuesday. The DVD is the true story of a young lady who originally was going to have an abortion, but instead gave her baby up for adoption to a loving Christian family. Maybe this DVD will soften her heart to the fact that there is a little person growing inside of her!

At this point she is scheduled to have the abortion on Tuesday, January 31st. Will you please pray that her heart will be changed, and that she will choose LIFE for this little baby?

This is near and dear to my heart and I will definitely be praying!

My son is adopted and his birthmother found out she was pregnant with him right around the time we attended our first adoption info meeting and began filling out paperwork. We also went ahead and asked our friends and family to begin praying for our child's birthmother even though we didn't know who she was or where she was or if she was even pregnant yet. After meeting her, she told us that when she first found out that she was pregnant she had plans to have an abortion. She had had 2 abortions in the past and her words "it wasn't a big deal" to have another. On her way to the abortion appointment, she saw a sign for abortion alternatives and said something made her stop and talk to a counselor there and they encouraged her to place the baby for adoption instead. Eight months later, we walked into a hospital room, she placed her beautiful baby boy in my arms, and said, "Here's your son." I will forever be grateful to everyone that was joining us in prayer because although his birthmother says she just decided to stop that day, I have no doubt that it was God's intevention!

Praying she will choose life and salvation. I also have an adopted child that was saved from abortion. Fortunately the birth mother's efforts did not succeed and God saved my daughter. Praying this child is protected as well. And praying He will send someone to speak truth into her life on all fronts.
