Children's Bible choice

Post by andreamichele13 » Tue Jan 24, 2012 3:02 pm

Ladies,

Could someone point me toward, or give me any feedback about which Children's Bible to use for LHFHG? I saw it in a thread yesterday and I can't find it again! I am SET to order everything else, except that one thing! I just can't decide on which one...

Thanks!

LOVE the Family Time Bible in Pictures. My son loves it. The illustrations are beautiful and are real people, not cartoony.

I'll just move this post over to the Main Board where more moms will see it. :D All new posts begin on the Main Board. :D

As far as the Bibles for LHFHG go, you have already received good advice. :D The Family-Time Bible is written for a younger audience, and 101 Favorite Bible Stories is written for an older audience. So, if your child is 5 or 6, then I'd lean toward The Family-Time Bible (as the stories are shorter). :D If your child is closer to 7, or prefers longer stories with a more challenging vocabulary, then I'd lean toward 101 Favorite Stories... instead. :D Both Bibles have beautiful illustrations and are enjoyed by many families. We pray you will enjoy LHFHG as much as we have with our boys! :D

Blessings,
Carrie

We use & love 101 Favorite Stories. Either way, I think you'll be fine!

We use the Family Time Bible- anything by Kenneth Taylor so far has been really good. In fact it's my hyperactive ds favorite subject- Bible!
