Folk Tale Suggestion for DITHOR grade 9?

Post by blessedmomof4 » Mon Jan 23, 2012 3:38 pm

Just thinking ahead, as my girls will be using DITHOR for grade 9. Carrie mentioned in another thread some great suggestions for every genre except folk tale, so i'd love to hear some thoughts :D

Lourdes,

Some possibilities would be Dicken's A Christmas Carol, The Little White Dove, Rosa of Linden Castle, Little Threads, The Three Weavers, any unabridged stories of King Arthur or Robin Hood, A Basket of Flowers, the Parable of the Two Millstones, or Sir Knight of the Splendid Way (which is an allegory). :D Many books from Lamplighter Publishing would work in this category. :D

This may help get you started. :D

Blessings,
Carrie
