Which HOD books do you use for middle school? Or are those still in the works?

While I have always liked the idea of a unit study, I found myself completely overwhelmed with the amount of projects and written work that was required on a daily basis. The daily plans took up many pages and the introduction of all of the various required notebooks to set up the program was quite something!
Yes, I am getting ready to place it in our used curriculum sale. I loved the concept but the follow through was too much for me. Though I am sure there are many who love and adore the program. I just feel like the Lord prompted Carrie to write HOD, just for ME! (grin) For the first time in ten years I am selling everything off except my HOD! It is FREEING! (I just had a picture of Mel Gibson in Braveheart as he yelled, "FREEDOM"!) Oy vey, I woke up too early!

AWOA and ANWOA are full of wonderful information! We've enjoyed our experience with it, but it's been difficult to adjust for my younger daughter (2nd grade/8 yo). I agree with Carrie, though, that it was too much for one day, at least for me. That's why we came back to HOD and all of our kids will use it next year. I must be a true CM kind of gal...I long for the shorter lessons!
