Help with what i need to buy

I've decided to go with Bigger for my daughter and preparing for my son.

I am going to buy the economy pack for each but money is tight so could someone please let me know what I definitely need for the first 8 weeks or so.

I am going to do our own math and English that we have. I am getting the DITHOR. Thank u so much. I just can't tell with only being able to see the first week.

Welcome to HOD! I will help you with Bigger since I have the guide for my son this year. :D

For Units (weeks) 1-8 you'll need:

A First Book in American History (history box)
Journeys in Time (history box)
Stories of Great Americans (history box)
Little Pillows (Bible study box)
Hymns for a Kid's Heart book/cd set (music box)
Cheerful Cursive (handwriting unless you are using your own - language arts box)
One Small Square Seashore (science box)
One Small Square Woods (science box)
Science in Colonial America (science box)
Biography book choice (for the storytime box for units 1-4)*
Adventure book choice (for the storytime box for units 5-8)*
DITHOR guide/student book plus whatever genre book you begin with*

*Depending on what book(s) you choose to use for storytime & DITHOR you may be able to find them at your local library. It's what we did this year to save a little $, too!

Draw and Write Thru History (Independent History Study)
Noah's Ark, Noah's Flood (Independent History Study)
The 5,000-Year-Old-Puzzle (Independent History Study)
The Story of Noah's Ark (Storytime)
Tirzah (storytime)
Your Own Bible (Storytime, Bible Study)
One Small Square: Cactus Desert (Science Exploration)
One Small Square: Artic Tundra (Science Exploration)
