Finished Early Readers Bible!!

Post by psreit » Fri Dec 02, 2011 10:59 am

This is a huge milestone for Angie. She is excited about going to some other books. I may have her read The Beginner's Bible eventually, but I want to let her try something different for a while. We already got Owl At Home and the Frog and Toad books from the library. We'll see how she does. The reading is coming along at a slow, but steady pace. I think getting through that thick book will help her in reading shorter books. She will fly through those and I think that will build her confidence even more. So, Monday we take another step forward. :D

It was a fun step to move on to the next book! Owl at Home and the Frog & Toad books are pretty easy too, but the reading does ramp up quickly after that in difficulty. I'm sure it will be great though! Congrats to her on finishing it!

Yay! Congratulations! That is a wonderful feeling of accomplishment to finish that first, big book. I know it was really slow going for my ds at first too and the emerging readers really helped progress him along nicely. You are in store for lots more fun and steady progress! :D

Those are great books. I had forgotten how great "Frog and Toad" was until now reading it with Shana. :)
