Mutiny in the schoolroom!
Well, it was the first day for our storytime book in Bigger (Ben and Me) and with it being a shorter book the reading sections are not that long. I made the mistake of dividing up the 1st chapter and the first part was very short. Ds has been looking forward to the book for two weeks now and I wish I could have snapped a picture of his face when I told him we were done. It would have made a nice picture for the "Week in review" section. Little brother tagging along just for fun was not any happier. However, in a good show of character they both recovered and did not create a scene. I felt bad for them, but it was kind of cute too. If I am going to have schooltime problems, the type when the child cannot fathom that we are done would be my first choice

Too cute!
Stopping too soon when reading aloud is always a momma's perrogative.
It is great to leave them wanting more!
I can't remember having that feeling during my school days long ago.

Carrie
