Urgent prayer request

Post by rod_squad » Mon Nov 14, 2011 5:22 pm

Hi mamas. Will you please pray for my friend Jason? He is an amazing husband and father of 3 young children. He is in ICU with bacterial meningitis and is really fighting for his life. He has been medically paralyzed and they are just now trying to bring him out of sedation. We are all praying for a miraculously full recovery. At this point they just dont know what damage has been done.
It has been so amazing to see how prayers travel so quickly on facebook and so I just had to bring it to HOD because I know that you are really some amazingly powerful prayer warriors. Ive experienced your prayer!! Come to think of it, I havent threatened to send my kids to school for weeks and I know thats a direct result of your prayer.

Thank you so much in advance. God bless you all! Much love, sarah

Oh my, my mom had this twice, but she did not have the most severe kind of the bacterial types.
Lord, we lift up Jason to you Father that you heal his body of the bacteria and restore his brain and body fully. Lord, guide his doctors, caregivers, and family in providing the best care and treatment possible. Lord, I pray his body will respond to the antibiotic treatment and that it would eradicate the bacteria completely. I pray for your hand upon his brain that it be protected from lasting damage and completely healed. I pray Lord, that through this trial, that your power would be revealed and you would be glorified to all. I pray that you surround Jason with mighty prayer warriors and angels to guard him. Lord I ask all of these things according to your will and thank you for hearing our prayers and being such a faithful and merciful God. In Jesus' name, amen.
