Question about Beyond & American Pioneers and Patriots

Post by kamariden » Thu Oct 20, 2011 2:03 pm

I was looking through the preview of the Beyond guide and then I went and looked at a preview of the American Pioneers and Patriots book. According the preview of APP, the book goes straight from Contents page vii to page 3 where the first story begins (skipping pages 1 & 2 entirely). However, in the Beyond guide, pages 2 and 12 from APP are assigned for Unit 1 Day 1. Am I missing something???

I just checked my "American Pioneers and Patriots" book, and it has page 2 in it. :D I don't see an "American Pioneers and Patriots" preview on the HOD website, unless I'm missing that somehow, so I couldn't see what you were seeing there. But, I can tell you that there is definitely a page 2 in APP. HTH! :D

Hmm. Okay. Guess I'll have to wait till I get the book. Thanks!

BTW- I was looking at a preview on christianbook.com. I like them and Amazon for their previews. I find reading the previews gives me a more specific idea of what my son is expected to do/understand and helps with making the decision of placement. For example, I read the first chapter of APP off their preview and quizzed my son on it to test his interest and comprehension as a way of figuring out if he was ready for it. :)

That first day is different depending on the edition of APP. Everything else lines up.

Ahhh. Yes. That's probably it. Wrong Edition. No problem. Going to buy the HOD package anyway. Just using the preview for a sneak peek. :)
THANKS!

I wanted to come back to this and say we're on week 11 and using APP and the pages don'T line up. However, the info is all there. I just had to look at what that day was about and find it in APP. I have the 95 copyright of APP.

hth.
