We've had this book in our collection for years, and, as far as I know, no one ever read it.
Carrie has this listed in historical fiction, but we used it for adventure. I needed something fast, because I could not find the listed adventure book I thought we had here. Anyway, I just wanted to say, it's a great book! DD kept asking for more and I would make her wait, but today we were at the climax, so I gave in and read the last chapter. Thanks Carrie, for helping me utilize books that have been on my shelves for years, many never being read. We actually have 8 days left for adventure. I found another book in our collection that will fill in those last days, plus some.
Living books are great! I was getting choked up while reading that last chapter! Tears of joy!
