Another Rod and Staff Question

DS9 is in third grade and using Bigger. He is in English 3. Based on Carrie's plan to finish English 6 by 8th grade we need to run two English levels half speed. Is it best to go full speed through English 3 and then slow down in Preparing with English 4 taking it half speed?

What is an ideal English schedule if we are in Level 3 in third grade and intend to follow Carrie's recommendations? Does it even matter?

Just continue on with English 3 at full pace for third grade as long as your dc is doing well. Then you will just follow Carrie's recommendations the rest of the way. In Preparing R&S4 (or 3) is scheduled at full-speed. Then in CTC, you'll cover 1/2 of R&S5 and then finish the second 1/2 of that in RTR. When doing Rev2Rev you'll do R&S6 at half-speed and finish it with the Modern guide. So you are right on target to finish R&S6 by 8th grade using it as scheduled in the guides. That's the same path we are taking.
