DITHOR question from newbie

On the assigned reading calendar- I see 3 options of reading-

3 books for 5 days each
1 book for 5 days and 1 book for 10 days
1 book at 15 days

So am I right in that you pick which ever pace your dc can handle?

We are now starting adventure so for example my dd would start reading "RIding Freedom" for 10 days (divide total pages by 10) and then after that book we could do "Phoebe the Spy" for 5 days (divide total pages by 5). or if we wanted we could do 3 books for 5 days each....the Dithor book or books need to last 15 days

Is this right so far?

So in her student book- her work in the adventure unit will not always be on the same book. Is that correct?

ok...I also see in the read alouds that adventure is next....this doesn't need to start on the same days as DIthor new book correct?
Are all the read alouds 20 days?

You are right! You sound like a pro! Each genre lasts 20 days for Storytime, with the exception being Folk Tale, which lasts for 10 days. It is the last genre of the Storytime Box. In DITHR, all genres last 20 days with 15 days being reading within the unit and 5 days being project work at the end of each unit. The genres in Storytime and in DITHR do not need to match up. So, you could be doing a totally different genre in DITHR than you are doing in Storytime.
