First day tomorrow!!

I'm sooo excited!! I've wanted to do Preparing ever since I found HOD 2 years ago. I know school isn't suppose to start for another week, but I simply can't wait! I'll blog about it tomorrow. I so missed HSing over the summer.

Just wanted to wish you a happy start to your school year! We started about three weeks ago, and have had a wonderful time with HOD! This is our second year using HOD, and it does just get better each year!

We started math last week and tomorrow we'll dive into Creation to Christ with my oldest.

No one is excited. Summer is so much fun and so relaxed for all of us. I hope it goes smoothly.

I'm putting off my younger kids HOD because I can't find the curriculum guide, and they really need help with reading right now so we're going to focus on that.

Ok, middle of the day...dd still has some independent reading to do this afternoon.

So far, so good.

I'm putting off dictation til next week. I just can't introduce everything at once, and the first days of dictation involved a lot of explanation about the situations described in them.

Language was a little overwhelming with the unscrambling of sentences from the King James Bible, which my 10 year old hasn't used or memorized from.

But so far dd has a willing attitude and I am trying to appear joyful.
