Beyond: Australian substituting

Post by NicoleJ » Fri Aug 12, 2011 12:01 am

Hello, :)

I am *thinking* again/still/maybe about using Beyond for my DD6 next year and I was wondering if there are any Australians out there (Corrie?!) who have used Beyond and what Australian history books you have used either as a substitute for the American history ones or alongside them? I do like the look of the American ones... I think I would still use them as they were Godly men and women, and it doesn't really matter what their nationality was. I would like to add in some Australian history too, though. :)

Thanks! Nicole :)

No, there are others. Maybe using different level programs than you are asking about though.

Hi Anne,

my response to Nicole was that I use HOD as is, I do not alter the books used as they work together so well. I just have an Oz history read-a-loud book that we do when I think about it and we talk about it afterwards.

Ok so I am not from Australia but I just wanted to say it has been my life long dream to visit there. Hopefully one day. :D
