4 days/ 5 days

Post by christina101902 » Mon Aug 08, 2011 5:54 am

Which guides have 4 day weeks and which have 5? What makes the difference are there lab days needed for 4 day guides?

the first few guides are set up for 5 day units, LHTH, LHFHG, BLHFHG, and BHFHG.
From Preparing on up they are set up for 4 day units, leaving the 5th day open for co-ops or anything else you want to throw in there.

Christina - I see from your signature that you have young dc in LHTH and LHFHG. If you would like to have a 4 day week, many moms do a 4 day week with LHTH, LHFHG, Beyond, Bigger, and then just take 5 years instead of 4 years to go through them. They just pick up where they left off. I thought I'd mention this in case you are wanting a 4 day a week school year now, as this is an easy way to do this and still move dc along in HOD beautifully. :D

Thank you for your help. We have joined a homeschool group and once a week we have an all day activity. I have been trying a double up day, but it seems too much for my 5yo. The 4 day weeks will make everything run so much smoother :D .
