LHFHG bible

Post by rholliday » Tue Apr 15, 2008 7:44 am

Hi, sorry another question.
For LHFHG there are 2 bible options listed, but I see in the weekly plans they have the references for Family Time Bible. Are there references for "101 favorite stories from the Bible" In the appendix and somewhere else. I am also trying to decide between these 2 bibles, Can anyone weigh in on pros and cons to either one to help me decide which would be the best. Although I am sure they are both great!
Thanks
Renee

Renee,

Sorry about the confusion about these 2 Bibles. We had originally planned to use 101 Stories form the Bible, and then it went into a revision and was out-of-print. So, we replaced it with the "Family-Time Bible" which we had also originally matched to the plans. Then, that Bible went into revision and was out of print, but 101... came back in print. At this time, both Bibles are back in print! :D

So, you can choose either one as both match the plans perfectly. "The Family-Time Bible" has much shorter text and readings than the 101.... Bible. Both, have beautiful artwork. I would base your decision on how long your little one can sit and listen. Short attention span, or fidgety child = Family-Time Bible. Long attention span, chapter book listener = 101...

Blessings,
Carrie

Carrie,
That is super info! I wish I had known that before I ordered ;) Perhaps once we've built up some listening stamina we'll switch to 101.
Thanks!
