One thing to keep in mind is that the handwriting and fine motor skills books are not scheduled in beyond at all, so going through both of them during LHFHG will not in any way throw off your schedule. So since she's a young 4 you could do LHTH with her with the K fine motor skills and handwriting, then when you do LHFHG you could add in 1st grade options for those two subjects and still just do K level math since 1A/B are scheduled with hands on activities in Beyond and LHTH has a built in math component.

Or if you want to spread out LHFHG over two years you could do the K level books at full speed and then do the 1st grade books at full speed too, except doing math at half speed with everything else.

Keeping K level math with LHFHG makes it easier due to the hands on activities. It's not HARD to flip over to the Beyond guide for the hands on stuff for 1st grade, but it does get old, at least for us.

I definitely like the idea of doing both writing books over the next 2 years. Great idea! I think with Math I want to spread it out over 2 years so that I don't go too fast for her. (mainly because it is so new, and I have no idea how she will do with it)

So when you say K options do you mean writing, fine motor, science ?? Is that all? (or should I keep Science at 1/2 speed too?

I would keep science at half speed too, just because I like the K book better and they both teach the same things. I'd just do the Fine Motor Skills box with both options... Everything else I'd do half speed. Handwriting and the other fine motor skills workbooks are both in that box.
