Can I share my joy with you?

Post by housefullofboys » Thu May 19, 2011 2:33 pm

My 2 oldest boys have made decisions to give thier hearts and lives to Jesus! This Sunday, I will have the honor of "bafitizing" (baptizing) them! I really feel homeschooling has made such and impact on thier decisions. They are 7 and 5 years old!

I am so happy for you, and your post got my attention for a couple of reasons. One, your boys are similar in age to mine. My Ethan, who was 7 when he met Jesus, gave his heart to Jesus just a few months before he passed away.

Evan, my 5 year old, keeps saying he wants to be "baftized" very soon! In fact, just the other day he was asking to do it. Since we just moved AGAIN, we have to find a home church, and then we can discuss the baptism.

My heart is so happy for you, and I have to agree that homeschooling does bring our children closer to the Lord, and keeps them away from the ways of the world. Congratulations! :D
God Bless You,

Shannon

Praise the Lord! All glory and honor given to He who sits upon the throne of heaven. "Let the little children come to me"... not many "kings" say that, but our Savior is different. He draws dc to Him, and if their hearts are open, by His grace they are saved. I am praising our Almighty Father with you today! :D

housefullofboys,

Praise the Lord for speaking to the hearts of your boys! :D There is no greater moment than when we are convicted of our sin and desire to know Jesus as our Lord and Savior. What joy! :D

Blessings,
Carrie

Shannon,

My thoughts and prayers have been with you today as this is the anniversary of your ds who went to go be with the Lord. May His grace be sufficient for you through and through during this season!
I do agree that HOD and this board is a wonderful tool to keep the focus on the Lord Jesus especially during school hours and your testimony of your Ethan has been a blessing to me!

For the LORD God is a sun and shield; The LORD gives grace and glory; No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly.

Ladies...thank you for the prayers. :) The Lord made this past Sunday a day of peace, and family time for us. He provided that same peace that surpasses understanding that He provided when I was in the ER, learning that my son didn't make it. Indeed, He is good and full of grace, and if we just seek Him and lean on Him, we can get through anything.

I love you all! :D
God Bless You,
