Tips for written narrations?

Post by ChristyH » Sat Apr 30, 2011 7:00 pm

We will be starting CTC in the fall, but until then I would like to get started getting my children used to writing some written narrations. I am looking for a few tips or even a possible resource to help us get started. Thank you.

The CTC guide has outstanding "Written Narration Tips" in its Appendix! :D They are even titled that exactly (some for the student, and some for the teacher) - great minds think alike, right?!? You thought your dc needed them too, and so did HOD. I would just get your CTC guide, and you'll be set. :) I wouldn't try another source, as there are many different "helps" out there that just are not CM-like in the least. The ones in the CTC Appendix are excellent and helped my ds become a better and better written narration writer. HTH! :D
