I have been married to my husband for 7 years this summer and we have three children... 5, 4 and 2 1/2. While I am a stay at home mom, my husband is an estimator for a local insulation company. When I am not looking a curriculum,

I first came upon Heart of Dakota, when I was looking on a website for curriculum reviews. There wasn't a review on HOD, but someone on there was comparing another curriculum with HOD. So, I thought, "I am going to look up and see if I can find out what this HOD is all about!" I Googled HOD and began my quest for yet another curriculum to look at!

I guess I should go back and say that I was unsure about homeschooling in general-- sure that I wanted to do it, but unsure about trying to get it "all" done and with a 2 year old to deal with.

Anywho, I began looking at HOD and it was like a light came on for me!

I am so excited to start on this journey! All you ladies are great and very helpful! Carrie has been so awesome too! I was surprised, when she emailed me personally back! Now that's customer service!

This fall, I plan to use LHTH with my ds ( will be just turned) 3 year old. I plan to take it a half of page a day and stretch it for 2 years. Also, I will be using LHFHG with one of my dd who will be 6 in Dec. and my other dd who will be 5 in January-- and take it at her pace.
Sorry for long drawn out message, but I just thought I should introduce myself, especially since, you all will probably see me on this forum for years to come!!
