Heart_Mom,

One of the huge blessings that comes with a decision made in the Lord's will is His perfect peace. :D As you feel that peace that passes understanding, you know you are on His path and He will make your way straight. I pray the Lord's peace on your decision and that you will be able to bask in the warmth of it as you journey. :D

I have found that peace with my younger children as they use our guides, and it is so much more peaceful than the continual searching I must still do for my oldest son, since he has piloted much of what we write along the way leading me to always be searching for him. :D I understand the magnitude of such a decision and rejoice with you tonight. :D

Blessings,
Carrie

Thanks, Carrie! :D It is so peaceful to have decided. There's just nothing that comes close to HOD's way of intertwining the things of Christ and character lessons into the whole curriculum. That's what really cinched it for us. That and the fact that my children are I are really enjoying and learning each day. Also, I'm not the type of mom to do hands-on activities unless they are scheduled, so it's great to get those fun activities in there.

Thank you so very much! :D

***Edited to add: My in-laws live with us because my dear mother-in-law has a rare and very serious disease. To just have my lessons planned out (by you!) ahead of time helps me to not stress about the upheavals in time/scheduling that can occur here. Thank you!!!
Blessings,
Elisabeth

I am there with you. I have spent the past 14 years of homeschooling searching and trying everything out there I think. My two oldest will graduate in the next there years so no HOD for them. But I have a 5yo and a 3yo and I have found our home here and we will not be changing unless the Lord changes things. I LOVE HOD it is everything I have always wanted and never could get or put together myself.
I am so thankful I found this curriculum and the ease of using it is just wonderful.
Thank you Carrie for all your hard work.

I'm so excited for you - that IS a big deal! :D I'm glad you've found peace and contentment - what a happy way to homeschool HOD gives us. :D :D :D I can see myself finishing homeschooling strong with HOD. What a blessing for all of us - it's life changing, isn't it? Feeling contentment is a big deal. I'm glad you're feeling it - me too. :D
