Jayden's Poetry

Post by MomtoJGJE » Tue Apr 19, 2011 10:57 am

I believe it is completely the poetry studies in Bigger that have started this, so I'm going to put it here for people to enjoy! :)

A budding poet is born! :D I like her rhythm and rhyme. I'd like winter to go away, away, and spring to be here to stay, to stay. Jayden - you've inspired me to have some fun with rhythm and rhyme myself - way to go! :D HOD does inspire a love of poetry. I like how we have time to really appreciate poetry in HOD, and that it is a constant in the plans from year to year. My sons love poetry, and I credit it to HOD as well. I even enjoy poetry so much now - how I wish I had enjoyed it at a younger age - but then we didn't study classical poetry in school, and the poetry we did study was not nearly as worthy of being learned. A fine arts education is possible with CM and HOD. I'm so glad for the education our dc are receiving with HOD! :D

What fun poems! I love to see how much school spills into life until they become one! :D Thanks for sharing your sweet honey's poems. :D I enjoyed them!
