Bigger is Better!!

Post by Tiffini » Fri Apr 04, 2008 6:31 pm

My 7 yo ds sat down with me while I was looking over the Bigger manual. I told him that it covered poetry. He wanted me to read the first one. As I read it, he got a bigger and bigger smile on his face. He loved it! He wanted to talk all about it and what it meant. He couldn't wait to read all the others. He also said he didn't think he could go a day without school! This was after he saw all the books that would be included. He is not one of those who beg for school either. But he can't wait to start Bigger! My dds feel the same way! And so do I! How fun to not even be able to wait for summer break to go by! This is what most hs'ing moms dream about...

That is so great! It's wonderful when they love it! 8) Isn't it great to have it all taken care of and you can just focus on making memories with your little lovies. I love having all that weight off me of wondering what we will use and will we be able to tie one year into the next. :D

Oh ladies! I just love the BIGGER smile about the poetry. Isn't it amazing how kiddos connect with classic poetry? It is so unexpected, but wonderful. My boys love it too. I had no exposure to classic poetry when I was young and thoroughly enjoy it now.

I'm so glad your little honeys are looking forward to school. That is a true blessing! Thanks for sharing.

Blessings,
Carrie
