Hurray for Archimedes

Post by deltagal » Fri Apr 08, 2011 4:08 pm

My 14 yo enjoyed reading the Archimedes book for CTC immensely. He experienced so many connections with his pre-algebra. I love listening to him, go..."oh! Oh! I get it!" Thanks for this!

Florence,

That book was an eye-opener for us too! :D I think it helps if kiddos are further along in their math to be able to appreciate this book and Archimedes' thinking. I'm so glad that your son liked it and made connections with it! :D

Thanks for sharing! :D

Blessings,
Carrie
