My oldest ds is not an artsy, crafty kiddo, but the book projects in DITHOR have been a huge success with him! I think they have taught him to organize and plan a project from start to finish, and they have also improved his artistic skills. He has taken great satisfaction in the end results of working hard on his projects - they are one of the things he chooses to show my dh when he gets home.
