Box Day!

Box days are so exciting! Rev to Rev is here and it looks so good. Just want to spend the whole day looking at it. Can't wait for the guide to see it all. But loving having the books. So many great resources and oh my is there a lot to this program! Never in a million years could I have put all this together and have it come out looking organized without HOD. Thank God for the gifts He gives others to bless our lives! Just looking through stuff I love How God brings together our desires with what He has Carrie put in HOD. Planned to have my dd looking at literary elements in the Bible this year. Love how the creative writing program in Rev to Rev has her doing the same thing! It's always such a blessing when things work out that way. I love to see God's hands in it all.

Can tell Rev to Rev is going to be an exciting program! Next year is going to be so great! Preparing, RTR and Rev to Rev! And not only that I have a high school plan for everyone from my 6 year old to my 13 year old. This is definitely the year of peace. How wonderful it is to be able to hand over all the anxiety of planning future years to God and know He has it all covered and in a way I know He will bless us. Whew! What a relief that is. Prayers answered in a big way!

Yep! You always know what comes next is going to be great but then you actually see all the materials that are going to be combined and you can't believe it. I can't wait for the teachers manual. I know that is where the real magic is. But I can tell it is going to be great because the resources are incredible. That is what I love about HOD. If you love one you are going to love them all even more as they come each year. And I still love going back and doing them again. I think Bigger is more fun than it was the first time around and I loved it then.

I'm so glad that you have your books in hand and that you are excited about Rev2Rev. We are so excited about it too. It is coming together in such an inspiring way. We pray for the Lord's blessing and leading as we write, knowing it is to Him we are all accountable in the end!

I know exactly what you mean about having peace about the upcoming high school years. I am in the same place. I mapped out (with lots of prayer and guidance from the Lord, of course) our next 4 years, and they all include HOD! I feel the same way you do, that the books and resources are just what we wanted to use (and in God's perfect timing), and yet I don't think I could've ever put it all together the way Carrie has done for us. I love how you put that God gifts us each and how that blesses others. SO true!!
