In looking at the Bigger guide, I didn't see a review of the memory verses built into a particular unit like in the previous two guides. Is there a system for review of the memory verses? and what do you do with the card filing system you've made?
Thank you.

Re: Bigger Memory Verse Review?
There is no review schelduled in Bigger. The kiddos are learning different Proverbs and a biblical character trait that matches with it. What I do is have my dc copy the verse on a 4x6 index card and copy the character trait with its meaning on another index card. They then keep this in their bibles for that unit and go over it during their morning devotion time. When we start a new unit the cards get stored in a 4x6 photo albumn. It has worked really well and they can go back and reference of verse pretty easily

Psalm 27:4 "One thing I desire of the Lord, that will I seek; that I may behold the beauty of the Lord and meditate in His temple."

Re: Bigger Memory Verse Review?
I just bought composition books for each of my dc and they copy the verse into it(like the idea of copying the definition too! Wish I'd thought of it earlier!). I didn't use the index card b/c I have one who still really needs the bigger lines and an index card would be too confining for him. The do scroll through the pages of their books regularly to look through the verses they've copied, but the guide doesn't have a built in review that I've seen(we're on unit 19).

Re: Bigger Memory Verse Review?
Neat ideas!
I love hearing about dc hiding God's word in their hearts, and all of these ideas are such good ones.
My ds often "reviews" his verses on his own by flipping through the book of Proverbs, and reading the yellow high-lighted verses he's memorized. My oldest ds's Bible fell apart (a good thing I guess, as it got used THAT much
), and in his new Bible he went through and re-high-lighted all of the verses he memorized before with HOD, all on his own, just because they were that special to him.
I just thought I'd share that if they high-light their verses, they stand out and are naturally reviewed every time they use their Bible and come upon them - isn't that special?!?:D
