Ordering Bigger.....for next year....what to do about math

Hello! We are only in Unit 10 with Beyond but I want to start ordering for next year so we are ready to go....I plan on homeschooling thru the summer so we can start Bigger by Nov or so.....

I have a couple questions....First I was going to start by ordering the Economy Package and Cheerful Cursive plus the Science Add ons....My daughter will be ready for the Drawn into Reading program.....but should we get the emerging reader set too? I also do not quite understand how the Enlish works...I have heard some refer to R & S but see Preparing for Build English 2 listed....Do you use both programs or is it different altogheter? Then....I noticed on the math on page 34 of the catalog that it says that math is inered in the basic package so not sure how to order that.....I have read thru the instructions on ordering but just am not quite understanding how to order these.....Thanks so much....

On another note wanted to share....We got another piece of the puzzle in our daughters world when did some brain mapping last week....She had such a difficult time in ps....for many reasons but one of them was...she was so distracted by others in her class....and it showed on the tests why that was..she is so into what is going on around her she can not stay focused....that is why HOD....works so well for her! She can focus in short blocks of time and she doesnt get weighed down....and overwhelmed....and than just not be able to move forward....so another reason to love HOD....successful learning!!!! Is your daughter needing the emerging readers? If so, that is what you order for reading. The schedule and questions are in the manual. If she is past the emerging readers then you order DITHOR 2/3 with corresponding readers. You do not do the emerging readers and DITHOR at the same time. Preparing to Build is put out by Rod and Staff. Is your daughter ready for Singapore 2 or 3? Here are the ordering choices after the economy package depending on which math she needs (choose one):

I see you are ordering the science and Cheerful Cursive (We really enjoyed this!).
Are you ordering the read-alouds? I think they are called the deluxe. They are at the bottom of the page.

She is in emerging readers now but I think by next year will be ready for Drawn into Reading next late fall...She just turned 8....and her reading is picking up.....
The math I am a bit concerned about ordering so far ahead she is just in the beginning math...1A ....so probaby 2A 2B will be fine for her...next fall....I guess I could just order the next step up if she moves faster thru it like she is this year in the 1A....I can not believe I am thinking of ordering this far in advance! I guess we are committed to homeschooling next year now for sure! lol....I will go back and look thru the catalog again and make sure I have everything we need.....including the Deluxe part of it too....Thanks...Beth

okay going back over this.....

Here is what I am ordering....Basic Pkg with Math 2A and 2B ( From how I understand it that will come with the Math, English, and Devotional and Songs right?)

You do need the Economy set (that is the bare minimum, core of the program), but I am assuming you knew that and just forgot to type it. You will also need readers for the DITHOR. Otherwise, it looks good.

Ditto to 8arrows advice, and it sounds like you are set then! What fun to get your things in time to truly pour over them and dream of what is to come! The "Introduction" and "Appendix" give great information too, so be sure to check those out. "Bigger Hearts" is such a neat follow up to "Beyond..." - you have many wonderful days ahead of you.
