The verse that goes with the character trait, Loyalty, is listed in the Beyond guide as Proverbs 19:11 ~
"Good sense makes one slow to anger,
and it is his glory to overlook an offense."

I think the idea is that we can be loyal even when someone sins against us. We have the opportunity to overlook (forgive) or pass over their transgression. Atleast that's what I thought when we were on unit 17. HTH.
