Beyond Users - What unit are you in?

We started really late and we are about to start Unit 14.

Any other late-starting families around? Comfort me!

My friend just told me today they were starting Unit 16 this coming week, so you aren't too far off from her. My Preparing child is on Unit 18 this week, and I feel we are right on track to be done the end of May. Don't worry a bit!

We just finished unit 23, but I'm crazy and we started in July.

We're in Unit 18, which isn't really that much further along than you are. We're planning to take one day a week off for errands and cleaning, and also a couple of weeks off for vacations; so that will have us finishing up sometime during the summer. But that' s okay because I prefer to have only a short break in the Summer. (If we take a long break, my children tend to forget a lot! )

We will begin unit 12 this week, but we use a year-round schedule, don't worry about when we start a new grade, and are going 1/2 speed, so I don't know if we count.

We'll be starting in unit 20 this week.

We will start Unit 17 this week. If we were going according to days with public school system we would only be a few weeks behind them. Who knows what will happen when baby arrives in 2 months. We school thru the summer and take a short break as needed in summer. We will just continue on at pace we can handle after baby gets here.

We're beginning Unit 11 this week. We're schooling year-round now taking holiday/vacation breaks as needed.

We didnt start until January due to being in public school and coming home....we are probably the slowest one here! We are in Unit 5....and about Unit 7 with Math...and a bit ahead in the reading part....My daughter had all the Math before so we are just reviewing right now using the books...I am finding I am sometimes having a hard time getting things done because we have been doing remodeling projects and it feels a bit out of control right now! We are hoping to be done by August.....so will have to step it up a bit! Beth in Idaho

We're on unit 19, I can't believe it! This year is going by so fast, I feel like we just started yesterday.

Ooops! I just realized that we're actually still in Unit 17 (Day 4 today). I guess I thought it was 18 since I was reading ahead to see what was coming up!

We're also on unit 14, day 4 of Beyond. We started in Sept, but took it slow during the nice fall days. That did put us behind schedule including Christmas company and such. If we stay on course, we can finish mid-June. That's my goal. You're in good company.
