We are doing Little hands now, I can hardly wait to move on to Little Hearts but, I have to wait until my daughter is ready!!!
Our favorite is the Bible story/activity. My daughter just really connects with bible stories and the characters. I am amazed at how much she retains, more than myself sometimes! If given the opportunity, she would have me read her children's bible cover to cover at bedtime. Maybe sometime we will!

We are in Little Hearts and I love every part of it even though my 5 yr old says that his favorite part is storytime (with snack) and recess 
! We are only on unit 8 and I keep looking ahead to see what is planned for next year in Bigger...
I really like the way Carrie has applied the Charlote Mason philosophy without it being bogged down with minute details. I love that it is Christ-centered in a seriously practical way. And I really like that school is finished in ONE HOUR and THIRTY MINUTES!

the history books, the book packs, and the emerging reader's set of books and questions, (I still love Steve Green too), classic poetry matching history

poetry discussion, oral narration and how it builds from Beyond..., notebooking, history read-alouds, devotion discussions
Drawn into the Heart of Reading...
reading from all genres, picking my own books, character trait discussion, workbooks, projects at end

I'm biased, but I'll share what my sons' current favorites are...
My 5 year old loves the Rhymes in Motion from "Little Hearts...". He also loves the hands-on parts like making and eating the golden calf (which we did today). All of the big brothers enjoyed having a taste too. They never seem to tire of those kinds of things and are always glad when the 5-year-old has a snack for "Little Hearts..." (because they get one then too).
My 8 year old loves the science part of "Bigger Hearts...". He is really enjoying John Audubon right now and loves to do the science experiments. He is also really into the Eggleston books for the history part and finds them fascinating. He's making connections with the American history we've done before this in "Little Hearts..." and "Beyond..." and I'm thrilled that he's finally starting to remember who some of those famous Americans are. He also has a beautiful timeline this year.
My oldest son is thoroughly enjoying "Lord of the Rings" for his literature study. It's wonderful to see him making deeper connections and applications in the fantasy genre which is his favorite. His previous years of "Drawn into the Heart..." have served him well.
We're also loving the holiday season and the preparations for Christmas. We're looking forward to making Christmas cookies this week. Hope all is well with all of you!

honestly I think I'd have to say the options. I like being able to use the curriculum even though I might have to use a different book or system for math, for example. I can still use the guide that I love so much and I don't have to completely overhaul it!
