My box arrived and I am starting tomorrow!!! BUT...

...in The Reading Lesson, it states:

"In the first three lessons, try to do each page twice."

Now, does this mean do the page, do it again, and move on to the next page? OR Does it mean, do the number of pages for that day; go through the same ones the next day, and then repeat this process?

I am going to be starting this w/ both my littles so we will see how it goes. I can't wait to use the cd, too. I think this will be a big help for me and for my dc.

I took it to mean do just one page in the beginning and do it twice the same day. Then the next time review it and do the same with the next page. But maybe for some kids they might need a page then next day a review of that page, then next day a new page with review of old page and repeat for a while. Honestly I think the key is to not move too fast in the beginning and really any time they get "stuck". I have found it really just flows. They say not to review too much and sometimes to just move on even if they are "stuck". I have found some days they need a little review and some days they do not, sometimes when they seem a little stuck they get unstuck with the CD. It's kind of not an exact science but it is not hard to use either. Just jump in and you will get the right feel for your child. :D

Yesterday my almost 4 year old said she needed to stop because she could not remember. We took a week off for Easter. I told her that the CD was there to help her remember and did she want to try that. She was excited because that is kind of used as a reward after we finish. :D She came to me after spelling the word she could not get and just as proud as she could be of herself. Magic. 8)

I just do a few pages with my dd, if she has trouble with a page, we stop and do that page again first on the next day. That's how I did it with my ds as well.

Have fun, their eyes light up when they read the story pages.
