Excited!.....and a little nervous....

Post by striving2Bprov31 » Sun Jan 09, 2011 2:05 pm

Ladies,

Oh, boy!!! Tomorrow we are officially beginning our NEW homeschool regimen!! You can read below at my signature to see what our new plan with HOD consists of...

I am still doing last minute tweaking with our schedule. I am really excited because my son already loves Bigger, and I know that my dd will love CtC.....but I am a little nervouse, too!!! I hope it doesn't take us forever to get into our new groove.

To add to my being nervous...my ds2 came down with croup last week and now he has full blown stomach flu!! He has a very high fever and we haven't gotten good sleep...I wish we were all 100% to start our day tomorrow. I am still going to do school if he is not throwing up and the other stuff :). I do know that school tomorrow is still possible even with a sickie when we are using HOD! That is the good news!

Either way, we will all be well soon....and running smoothly with HOD!!!

Everyone have a good week!!!! Go Chiefs!!!! (We live in Missouri!! :) ) We'll see if they win today1....?????

I was sure hoping they would win. They won a playoff game 17 years ago on my wedding day, we were hoping that we were good luck. Turns out, not so much. Oh well, they did alot better this year than anyone expected they were.

We were hoping to have a fresh start tomorrow as well. I'm a little concerned because of the huge possibility for snow. My oldest has returned to PS and if he doesn't go the others will probably resist doing school. Guess, we'll wait and see. Praying everyone is feeling better in your home soon.

I am praying for a good start to school for you, and for your little guy to get over the croup. We've had that years back here too, and it is one nasty thing to get over. Praying for a better night's sleep for you too!

Liz,

I'm so sorry your child has the croup and the stomach flu. That can throw a wrench in the plans on the best of days, so be sure to give yourself some grace if you begin a new school routine now. :D I cannot believe how much having my 11 year old on crutches with a broken foot (in two places) has added time to our day!

Blessings,
Carrie
