I am thinking of switching my daughter over to the entire program of Beyond...for the rest of the year. We have kind of a funny situation. We used Beyond last year, following the plans as is until January of 2007. At that time, dd was still struggling more than I wanted with reading, so we put a hault to everything but L.A., reading aloud, copy work, and math. So, we only completed the curriculum guide to about the middle of Unit 15. This year,we've been using the emerging reader's schedule with her,
and at the beginning of January, we went back to Beyond.. for spelling too. (It's a long story why we didn't just stick with HOD to begin with...

) Anyway, we are doing Bigger...next year with my older two, and Little Hearts..with my youngest. We've been intending to finish Beyond...at the end of the year. Now I'm just thinking we should start Beyond..after our vacation next week, and double up to end by mid-June when my son will be finishing his curriculum. What do you all think? I think she's capable of doing it...I just want some advice on how I should schedule it. We have 16 weeks with 34 Units if I try to do ALL of the Units. I would love to hear some possible scheduling options.

Thanks so much!
By the way, I was looking at Bigger...with my oldest son today. He had been talking about how his math is boring. (we're switching to Singapore next year) I was showing him the Singapore workbook and textbook for next year, the books he'll be using for the extension pack, and the R&S English. He said, "That looks like it will be fun for next year." I'm so excited! Hubby wants me to finish what we have ( I asked if we could just start BIgger...now

), so we can't start 'til mid-summer. I am really looking forward to digging in and learning together, the shorter school day, and the 'fun'!
