HI all

I am new to this board and thought I would introduce myself. Name is Kelly and I have 2 blessings. DD is 7 and and DS is 3. I just bought HOD Little Hands to Heaven for my son. I can't wait for it to arrive. I am really thankful that HOD posts the first week as a sample so we can get started. We did one day last week just to see if it would be a good fit and throughout the day and over the weekend, my kiddos we're both doing the A A Adam finger play. So cute!!! This looks like a wonderful program for my busy boy and I think it will help me be more organized and purposeful in his education. I've found myself focusing on my daughters needs and just letting my preschooler tag along. Not that this is bad, but DS is beginning to identify letters and ask about what words start with which letter and so on, so I think the time is right and HOD seems like a great fit for him. I look forward to learning and growing from this board. Happy New Year!

Welcome!

I'm just getting ready to start LHTH with my DD. She turns 4 next month and is showing lots of interest in letters and sounds. She is so excited to begin...I'm just waiting on our teacher's guide too. What a great idea to start with the sample week...I'll have to do the same.

I don't have all the books, but enough to get started and will just catch up with the songs later. Its been fun and I LOVE that I can do 5 min here and there in between when I am helping my daughter. She even gets in on the act. Now I wonder if I will change her over or not. We just started a unit study today for her and it went great so we will see. I just couldn't justify not using something I JUST bought. I've done more curriculum switches for her this year, so didn't want to have more that I spent money on and didn't complete. But maybe after its done. We shall see. On a side note, DS enjoyed the exercise with tape on the floor. We not only walked it but hopped and jumped it as well. That was fun. Hi Kelly! Welcome to the board. I am so glad that you are enjoying LHTH. We completed the sample week and loved it. So fun. Can hardly wait to order mine until tax refund time...but wait I must.
