Indian in the Cupboard

Post by FiveLittlePeaches » Tue Dec 07, 2010 8:12 am

Hi,

My daughter just finished reading this book, and she just loved it. Now she wants to read the rest of the books in the series. I am fairly conservative and like to monitor the books my kids read. If anyone of the board has read the series, is this recommended reading?

Thanks,

Joy

We had the whole series at one time and my older son enjoyed it. I don't see anything questionable in it at all, but I am not as conservative as some here. If the "magic" of the cupboard does not bother you (as it doesn't bother me), then the sequels are much like the original...just different adventures.

On a side note, I have Return of the Indian in my paperbackswap and was hoping to give it away to someone who wants it. If you don't already have the book and would like this one, just pm me your address and I will send it right out. :)

Thank you for your response, Tree House Academy. As long as the adventures are the same as the original, then it should be ok.

And thanks for offering the book. My daughters face lit up when I read her your response. She'll get a real kick out of getting something from someone on the HOD board. :D

I'll pm you.

I loved these books when I was a kid, and read them all the first two are great. The third one I remember being a bit more strange, and magic filled.

Book 2 is in the mail! :) Please let me know when you get it. I am in TN, so it may take a bit via Media mail.
