So were doing a staycation this week much cheaper than a vacation! and I got my own bed to sleep in.
Today we went to the Dallas Museum of Art... as we were looking at triptych of Paul's conversion my dd2 asks Mom who painted this painting?
Mom looks over at Tag.. himm Benjamin West painted this painting...
DD2 MOM MOM (overtly loud in quiet museum) This is Benjamin Wests' painting!!! Mom is so good. Mom are there more...
Hubby: Who is Benjamin West?
DD2 spends the next 5 min telling Daddy all about the boy who skipped school to paint with colors he made from juice.
Meanwhile the guard has moved closer, is smiling and listening intently.
And yes we found another Benny West painting.
