Should I be doing more?

Post by blessedmama » Thu Nov 18, 2010 5:01 pm

It seems that this year we are only doing school every other week. It is not like on the weeks that we don't dive into HOD that we are not reading books or doing everyday type lessons. Do you think this is going to cause problems if we keep this pace up? It is not my intention to go every other week, life has just happened lately. I am hoping to get back into the swing of things by January.

Re: Is it enough?

If you did this for the entire year (not just school year) it would have you accomplishing about 26 weeks of school. That wouldn't be an entire guide a year. Not sure what your goals are. Plus I'm not sure what the requirements are legally in MN, but you want to take that into consideration. The only other thing I thought of, are your children retaining stuff doing every other week like that. If your answer to all of the above is enough for you, then I guess it's fine.
