R&S Grammar 2

Post by GinainMD » Wed Nov 03, 2010 12:05 pm

Hello everyone! Is it ok for my dd7 to be doing R&S grammar 2? I bought it for dd8 to use with Beyond but dd7 has been joining in also. She is in second grade fwiw but a young 2nd grader. She makes the cutoff by just a couple weeks. Thanks!

If she seems ready for it and is enjoying it, I see no reason not to allow her to continue with it. It will probably be much easier for you to keep them in the same grammar program. I think it's great if she is joining in, enjoying it, and understanding it. What a blessing! :D

I agree with Patty's good advice! :D Just know if it ever gets too difficult, you can slow to half-speed with her.

We're using that book with my dd who is barely 7 and would be in 1st grade in ps (we count her as 2nd though but we don't do any reporting in our state). She is doing fabulously. I agree that it will probably be easier to combine the two for as long as you can, so if she's doing well, then let her keep going!
Momma to my 4 sweeties:
DD 14 - MTMM and DITHOR (completed LHFHG, Beyond, Bigger, Preparing, CTC, took a couple years off, and now she's back!)
DS 11 and DD 9 - Preparing(completed 2 rounds of LHTH, LHFHG, Beyond, and Bigger)
DD 6 - LHFHG

Thanks ladies! She seems to really enjoy doing this and so far has had no trouble. I'll definitely keep in mind to slow down to half speed if it bcomes too difficult for her. Thank you for the advice.
