Thanks for sharing my delight!
I wanted to add, too, that she has been crying almost every day that she doesn't have any fun school like her brother (who is in CtC). I was so focused on upping her skills in 'testable' areas, that I was not willing to add anything until AFTER testing was done. Well, I bought Beyond, and we began today. She was soooo delighted to have her OWN fun thing. Her OWN poetry, her OWN history. I thought she would not be content unless I put her in CtC with big brother, but she seems pretty pleased to have her own stuff! I was shocked! I told her she could still do any of the fun things in CtC that she wanted to, like the watercolors and tracks book. I am really encouraged! And, I think the HOD Beyond History and Science will really help her get up to speed. Having her trail along with MOH and the other things I have used lately with her older brother have been a disservice to her. She just couldn't process all the info that seemed so unrelated to her. I think the history books in Beyond will be a perfect fit for her, she is very relational and the stories of children will enthrall her. Sigh...why oh why did I ever question HOD a couple years ago and leave? I wish I had stuck around! But God gently led me back, and I am so thankful He never gives us over, He is always ready to show us how to get back to the right path.
I am not following Beyond for her math and english etc. She will keep on in R&S 2, Writing with Ease 2, and TT math 3. Maybe we will try the spelling, but AAS 3 is going so well for her. Anyway, I think the poetry, Bible, History and Science in Beyond is just perfect for her. :-)
Deep sigh of contented relief....

That is wonderful news! :D Your dd sounds precious - I am so glad she will get to enjoy Beyond. :D There are many things in life God gently leads me back to - and usually when I get there I'm especially glad to be back. I'm thankful for His leading you (and me too.) :)

lovetobehome,

I'm so glad to hear that your daughter is enjoying her start into Beyond and that you continue to enjoy CTC. :D We pray both may be a blessing to your family. I am also glad the testing is done. It can be nerve-racking I know, and it takes time too. I am always glad when that is over here too! :D

Blessings,
Carrie
