Beyond looks great for my son!

Post by Kelly » Mon Mar 17, 2008 8:52 pm

Hello Ladies!!
I was able to look through Beyond and decided that it was the right choice for my son! He would be able to do some of Bigger, but not everything.
I AM SO HAPPY!!!! HOD looks like it will be exactly what I need. I am always thinking about how my kids learn, but never really took what I need as a teacher into consideration. This looks to be just the right amount of structure for us. Yay!!
Also, I looked at the Dianne Craft link that someone else had put on another post and it sure does describe my son to a T! Right brained learner, dysgraphia. I am going to use some of her teaching suggestions as well. I am praying that with that info, HOD, and most importantly- prayer, that my son will be able to be a more confident student!

That is great! It is a little different having it in your hands and looking at it. You can sort of instantly tell it will work. 8) I so agree with you about having something that you can teach. We are always thinking about what they need (as we should be :D ) but it also matters greatly what we can teach as well. So glad you are happy. We are looking forward to doing beyond as well. It really looks like so much fun. In fact the ladies here may have convinced me to crack open my copy (Ok I'm addicted I bought ahead  ) and use the LA for my dd who is older but delayed. The more I look at Beyond the more exciting it is.

Can't wait to here how you love your first day!

HOORAY, Kelly! I'm so glad for you that "Beyond..." is the right fit! I'm also glad the Diane Craft link was helpful. I was the one who posted it, and she is a wonderful lady!

Blessings,
Carrie
